This Sunday 20th May a little more club history will be made when 2 of our junior girls team for the very first time play in the state cup.

The u/12 girls travel south to play Woonona at Barrack Hts at 9am. Have a safe trip & enjoy the day.

the u/14 girls play epping ymca at grahams reserve at 11.30 am. please come down and support this fine young team

WELCOME TO THE 2012 FOOTBALL SEASON
On behalf of the committee of Brookvale Football Club we welcome you all to the 2012 season.  A very special welcome to all new players & their parents especially  to the under 6 age group who will play their very first game of organised football.  Please enjoy yourself.

The club registrar Brian Geoghegan has advised that we now have over 700 registered football players an increase of over 50 new players from last season

A very special thank you to Brian (who was made a life member recently) & his sister Jacky Higgins who have worked countless hours to get  all our players registered & are still hard at it.

Also many thanks to the Louisette Buijs, Melissa Havranek & Jules Clarkson who have put their hand up to be age group co-ordinators.  With out these 3 people the club secretary would have had a impossible getting all our players on the field for the start of the season.

Also thanks to the parents who have taken on the position of age group wet weather contacts which we hope do not have to do much work this season.

A massive amount of work has been done so far this season where we have got to the stage of having over 700 players ready to go for the start of season.

So get out there & enjoy it!

ATTENTION ALL COACHES & MANAGERS

The MWFA rules state that all managers & coaches must provide a "Code of Conduct" and a "Volunteers Declaration" forms before they can look after their teams on match day.

Furthermore if your are a new coach or manager involved with U11s or up you must provide the club with a photo so an ID card can be issued.  The rule is NO ID CARD NO COACHING

LATE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

For your information the first weekend of football this season will be on Saturday the 31st of March and Sunday the 1st of April.  Due to the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) guidelines if you want your child to play on the first day of the season your late registration documents must be with the club no later than Monday the 20th of February.  All registrations received after this date will be accepted but may not be processed in time for the first game.
